Trials will be held in multiple cities. Qualified players will advance to the Selection Match, and the final team will be selected based on their performance.

Eligible Age Group: 16-35 Years

The trials are open to academy as well as non-academy players aged between 16 and 35 years.

Giving Grassroots Talent the Platform They Deserve

Salute Tiranga Cricket League (STCL) is a unique initiative created by a group of passionate cricketers and social activists with a mission to provide a genuine platform for grassroots-level, talented players above 16 years of age who remain untouched by conventional cricket opportunities. At a time when aspiring players often face significant financial barriers in the name of tournament and league fees, STCL is committed to ensuring that talent, rather than financial capacity, determines opportunity.

STCL provides selected players with a professional and supportive cricketing environment while covering their essential expenses throughout the league, including free accommodation, meals, transportation, travel, and match fees. Our objective is to identify, nurture and promote deserving grassroots talent and give them the exposure, facilities and competitive opportunities they need to progress towards higher levels of cricket. STCL is not just a cricket league—it is an initiative to discover hidden talent, remove financial barriers and create a pathway for deserving cricketers to pursue their dreams.

The league is guided by distinguished former Indian cricketers. Mr. Chetan Sharma, a former Indian cricketer and former Chief Selector of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team (BCCI), serves as the League Commissioner. The league is mentored by Mr. Ashok Malhotra, a former Indian cricketer and former Chairman of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), BCCI. Their experience, leadership and cricketing expertise provide STCL with strong professional guidance and reinforce its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for talented grassroots cricketers.

PLAYERS' INSTRUCTIONS:

All players are required to attend trial in colored uniform (jersey and lower).
All players must carry one pen, a photocopy of their Aadhaar Card , a photocopy of their Birth Certificate, and one colored passport-size photograph.
All players are required to bring one water bottle and light refreshments.
Batsmen & wicketkeepers must bring their complete cricket kit.
Bowlers are required to bring their own spike shoes & studds.
Trials will be conducted exclusively for Batsmen, WicketKeepers & Bowlers only.
All rounders will not undego trials, however, they remain eligible to play in the league matches.
